Ralph Lauren Grey Sweatpants

Heather grey sweatpants are almost as classic as blue jeans. I've been obsessed with finding the perfect pair in order to give my jeans a break and Jake Davis just made my search much easier.  I'm not saying these are totally perfect, but these may be as good as it gets as far as tailored sweatpants. Thank you, Jake and Mr. Lauren for making my day.

"Zipper fly with two button hidden closure and drawstring. The problem with most sweatpants is the "man meat" outline. Even when you wear boxer briefs the infamous outline is still there. Just check out McQueen above. Straight "man meat" outline. No homo. With a proper zipper fly you're good money. "

"Two back pockets with flap and button closure. Functional belt loops... Need I say more!"

"Dart detail for a proper fit. You can sag in these if you like but I prefer a proper tailored style in my sweaties."

"Keep it fitted and hemmed."

A San Francisco Treat

This is...or quite possibly may be just as good as RICE-A-RONI! San Francisco shop UNIONMADE has just launched their online shop and just like the original "San-Francisco Treat", UNIONMADE is sure to please. With some serious collaborations underneath their belt (literally) these guys continue to kill it. Take a look at their recent collab with local sportswear purveyor Golden Bear. I've been searching for a perfect lightweight varsity jacket for quite some time and I think I've finally found one. This is a classic piece of outerwear that's a definite "must cop".

*Additional Information
We teamed up with local sportswear company Golden Bear (est. 1922) on a new set of cotton varsity jackets. Made in San Francisco's Potrero district, the jackets feature timeless styling with a contemporary twist featuring tartan plaid lining and leather pocket details. During the 1950's, varsity jackets became the rage among high school and college students. Just as in the 1960's with the culture radically changing and styles with it, Golden Bear provided the dockworker jackets worn by many a famous beat poets and rock stars such as Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, The Doobie Brothers and the Grateful Dead.

Exclusive Look: Junya Watanabe Man At Union

DETAILS...DETAILS DETAILS...enough said. Junya Wantanabe continues to kill the game with these classic pieces with a twist. I don't consider myself a trendhumper, but after taking time to look at these pieces I may have to reconsider...Stay crispy my friends!

Chris Gibbs at Union had this to say:
"In an attempt to mirror our success with Visvim, last season we sought out to find complimentary brands that we could offer. We found three brands that fit the bill; An Italian brand named Ten C, some select Stone Island pieces and Junya Watanabe Man. We received our first Junya delivery this week and we want you to be the first to have a look.
Junya is the first "fashion" brand that we will have in the store but we feel like they are doing some of the best shit on earth lately and that their old accounts don't know how to buy the new look they are doing. We have tried to do our "Union" edit and offer the most classic looks with a subtle twist.

All the stuff is a little pricey but I think it's well worth it for what you are getting."

Air Jordan Retro Updates

Dan Trepanier aka "SB"
Time to start putting away paychecks. 2010 thus far has been filled to the brim with Air Jordan Retro releases and it seems that most sneakerheads are impatiently waiting for the release of the Air Jordan IX (11) Cool Greys. It's rumored that the Air Jordan XIII (13) Altitude is expected to drop sometime during the Holiday season as well.

So as you countdown the months till December, take a look at what's in store for 2011:

The Air Jordan III (3) True Blue are what I've really been anticipating (these would have looked great with a pair of seeksucker pants for summer ESPECIALLY here in Houston). The True Blue III released last year as an Asia-only release, but this is one re-release that we all can agree needs to happen. Also slated to release are Air Jordan VII (7) Cardinal as well as the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux.

It seems as if Jordan Brand is taking a completely relentless approach with the Retros, giving Jordan-heads almost no time to make decisions. Will you catch...I mean cop 'em all?
